I am considering to help with designing the ui of this and planning to add various improvements in it.

yes it is, but it's under active development and PRs regarding UI may conflict very quicky as I have my own workflow on Figma and GitHub.

I tried installing and running it again and agian first in windows then in linux but it still cannot start.

Build packages first: pnpm build --filter=./packages/\*

Hmm are you using windows? If rebuilding the packages doesn't work, run development mode on the examples with pnpm dev --filter=example-next-mdx, also my design process will be kept private, please suggest your ideas directly.
