Fitbit-Fitness-Tracker-Analysis

Analysis of how sleep affects activity levels

This study examines the relationship between sleep duration among Fitbit users and the intensity of their physical activity, their distance traveled, step count, and caloric expenditure. Users were categorized into three groups based on their sleep duration: Low, Middle, and High. Surprisingly, the analysis revealed that having a longer sleep duration doesn't lead to higher levels of physical activity, covering greater distances, or achieving more steps. In fact, it was observed that users in the High sleep group had, on average, the lowest levels of these outcomes.

The data set was obtained from this Fitbit fitness tracker data set on Kaggle: https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/arashnic/fitbit?resource=download
