URLs structure

API resources describe both composition and aggregation relationships between a number of resources. The most appropriate URLs structure therefore could be alternating collection and resource path segments relative to the API entry point. However, such an approach would produce very long and unreadable URLs. This is particularly true when there are many relationships which take place. As a consequence, defining a single level route for every resource results to more readable URLs. This is the approach taken by the gamification platform.
