Matlab not classified on main repository page

Hi there,
I created a new repository yesterday containing plenty of Matlab .m files, but it's classified as Assembly:
https://github.com/georgbasler/Controllability
I added a .gitattributes file containing
*.m linguist-language=MATLAB
but that doesn't seem to help. If I click on Assembly under Languages on the repo main page, the search function doesn't find files because it classifies them correctly as Matlab. However, the repo main page still shows 99.9% Assembly.
Any ideas?

You need to push a change to another file other than .gitattributes as simply changing the .gitattributes isn't always sufficient to initiate a reanalysis when forcing a language change.

This will be because of all the files you have with the .S extension and many of them are massive:
