Reverts #5894 and #5911 and my initial attempt to fix this in #5912
On second thoughts, I don't think this is a good idea. This will lead me to blindly accept Dependabot updates which will break things like it has for our tests on
master.I don't have any more time now to dig into how we can fix this using
actions/checkout@v3so I'm reverting this change and putting us back the way we were.We can address this if and when we're forced to update.
