It would be nice if quicktype would support JSON schema Draft-07 or even 2019-09. Especially the string-encoding of non JSON data would be great.

Has anybody already made a list of what needs to be done for the upgrade to one of the next versions?

Entry points for an analysis would be:

Maybe we can collect requirements for the generated code here?
E.g. as a (Python) developer I would be glad to have code where I

can pass in a bytes like object and
- if the object is defined to be a string
- and a string-encoding is set
  => then the conversion into the encoding should be done automatically when calling the to_dict-method
