Would this be a good time to add a link to docs.gno.land on this page as well? Maybe in the header on a new line under social? Or somewhere the reader can find it quickly.

This PR introduces a format change to the org-level README, adds content and provides a cleaner starting-point for developers seeking to learn more about Gno. Additional changes can be added to make this a richer resource; this is to be seen as a first take to gather feedback on the new direction.
