This is a bug fix so not affected by features freeze (can still be delayed to 4.3 if not enough time but not due to feature freeze) |

tbh this makes me wonder whether the selection is even necessary. When you use native dialog, it does not select anything in any mode. Maybe selecting is nice when you navigate with a keyboard, but I think file dialogs are mostly used with mouse? idk |
