This does a few things to support permalinks. First, methods are isolated to their own page, e.g. docs/datastore/dataset/runQuery. They can be accessed via the / url (so a reader can copy and paste the url in the address bar to share), or if they come from one of our jsdoc reference links: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/gcloud-node/blob/master/lib/datastore/query.js#L33, a url like: docs/datastore/dataset#runQuery will do a seamless replacement of the # to a /, and take the user to the right spot.

If a specified method doesn't exist, they are directed to the class documentation.

Whoa, whoa this is really confusing. Maybe it's just me but I don't want a separate page for each method, I just want anchors so that I can link to certain sections of the documentation. I also just find it confusing in general. I don't want to click a link expecting it to take me somewhere with more information on the topic but it ends up just taking me to a page with the same information isolated.

That makes sense. Instead of the method name being a link, I can add a hashtag beside it as a link. That's the general understood "this is a permalink" icon.

Perhaps with more googling, I can find a way to implement the traditional deep link behavior. I haven't found it yet, so this is the best it can be for offering a way to link to a method.
