Improvements to new fan color feature #352

Testing the new feature, some observations:

The "age" color should exclude the case where dates are before/after/etc.
For categorical colors, it would make sense to change the order such that "other" is gray
It would be nice to click on categories to highlight them, like in the chromosome browser

More color ideas: birth place, death place
