The runtime code does not alter the Arrays in question, and it is good form to prefer `ReadonlyArray<T>` over `Array<T>` (aka `T[]`) in the input position when one can.

This incorporates the change in #181 and the suggestion in #185 to support the
ArrayLikeinterface in batch functions and the loadMany method. Doing so required changingArray.isArrayto anisArrayLikefunction and removing the use ofkeys.mapin favor of a simple for loop.Fixes #185
