Hi @acao,
I understand you want anti-Semites to be afraid again
however you may not have realized that people consider the term "Free Palestine" to be anti-Semitic.
of course we all want a peaceful world but I suspect this may not be the way to say it.
Maybe you can change your message to be something about how all humans should not judge by race and live peacefully together.
Best regards

Problem is that adding something that says "Free Palestine" directly implies "Destroy Israel", which is a particularly egregious antisemitic sentiment.
You may respond that indeed Israel should be dismantled and Jews should live with suffrage wherever they find comfortable, however our 2000 year exile outside our homeland in the Land of Israel, with its expulsions, persecutions and ever-present hate and discrimination, has taught us that there is no place in the world where we are actually safe aside from our own homeland. 🤷

Where you are free to do expulsions, persecutions and ever-present hate and discrimination against Palestinians 😂

@trolololox it's a highly unfortunate situation that we are not able to live in peace together. The vast majority of Israelis would like to live in peace with our Palestinian neighbors. Unfortunately however that cannot be said for the Palestinian leadership, who salt choose to invest their efforts in combating the Israelis instead of making leave with them. As Golda Meir famously said "If the Palestinians put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no ‎more Israel"

@elijulian I'm not a Jew nor a Muslim, I'm just a human and I wonder if I'm the only sane person left that notices the irony of the whole thing, of how Jews basically treat Palestinians exactly how the Jews were treated in the past. Guess what? It was a highly unfortunate situation back then (but for the other side)

80 years ago was shoah, which was bad¹ because it was against Jews; now it's suddently OK because it's done by the Jews?

Don't get me wrong, I bet you're a super cool dude (and also the rest of your people!) and I'm also 100% aware that it's a political thing and most of the conflicts starts from Leaders.

¹ it WAS bad, no discussion here.

@trolololox I think we can agree that there is a difference between a policy of persecution backed by racial ideology (Nazism and the Holocaust) and the unfortunate prolonged ruling of a foreign nation due to the refusal of their leaders to do anything but pursue hatred and violence. Drawing moral equivalency between them is very problematic.

Please consider the fact that Israel has consistently tried to compromise and make peace with the Arab and Palestinians, but have repeatedly been rejected. It's not as if the Israelis pulling out of any occupied territory would necessarily improve things. They did exactly that in 2005, pulling out of Gaza and turning it over to the Palestinians. But unfortunately, instead of taking over the flourishing greenhouses left for them by the Israelis, the Gazan residents destroyed them. Instead of building infrastructure they invested in rockets and tunnels. Instead of investing in education, they invested in military training and hate mongering. The vast majority of Israelis would love to give the Palestinians their own state, and do feel morally obligated to do so, but great that by doing so their own lives will be endangered.

So drawing equivalency between Nazi persecution of Jews, and the occupation that Israelis don't want but have no choice but to continue... is a very skewed argument indeed

Nothing better than being lectured about oppression by a privileged white man, from a country known for successful implementation of genocide and slavery

@trolololox

Do you really think it is right to liken the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the Holocaust?

During the Holocaust, a state deliberately murdered a population of 6 million people.

In the Palestinian Israeli conflict - where during all the decades of the conflict, fewer Palestinians died than in one day of the murder of Jews in Auschwitz at the height of its operation -
The State of Israel has never committed the deliberate murder of innocent people.

Indeed, as with conflicts and wars, even innocent people have died - on both sides.
But the image of the conflict for the Holocaust is fundamentally wrong.

@elijulian There are many Jewish people all around the world that are against the existence of Israel because the country is being built upon the expulsion and oppression of Palestinians. You can fight against antisemitism and be against the mere existence of Israel. That is not a contradiction. The "two states solution" as you suggest is just not possible because it involves a reduced, jeopardized and not viable Palestine (not viable in economic, social and environmental terms) besides an expansionist and heavy armed Israel that controls and decides on Palestinian lives. We are many people who fight antisemitism everyday and at the same time support the one-state solution: a secular state where both people can live together with the same rights. So, please, don't mix what antisemitism and anti zionism mean. Assimilating Jewish religion and culture to zionism is a lack of respect for all the Jewish people that have fought along history for human emancipation and freedom.

The State of Israel has never committed the deliberate murder of innocent people.

So, it follows that if State of Israel ever murder innocent people in the Levant, it would then equal the Holocaust?

Amnesty [0] and the UN [1] got your back.

No,
If the State of Israel ever intentionally murders innocent people in the Levant.

The State of Israel is a democratic state governed by the rule of law.
In the State of Israel, every case of murder is thoroughly investigated and tried.

During combat, the IDF avoids killing innocent people as much as possible and even cancels operational plans in the event of such a concern.

Indeed, as I have already written, in war as in war also innocent people are killed,
Also in the State of Israel, there have been rare cases of the murder of innocent people by extremists, which has received harsh criticism from the entire population and the Israeli leadership.

I pray that, as in a democratic Israel[0], the Palestinians will educate their children[1] for peace and tolerance and respect for every person who is human.

"Free Palestine!", said the white guy who's grandparents annihilated the indigenous population, invaded half the world for oil and invented the KKK.

To whom he said it? To the barbaric middle eastern Israelis and Palestinians (which both have actually legitimate rights over the land and good arguments for the conflict).

Stop patronizing and trying to enforce your "western high morals" upon other nations.

Most importantly - code is sacred. It's above politics and arguments. You want to take a stand? Write something like "End the Israeli-Palestinian conflict", don't pick sides without even knowing what it's about.

So unprofessional.

I believe that Germany (privileged white men?) unsuccessfully attempted genocide against the Jews, Turkey attempted genocide against the Armenians, Rwanda against the Tutsis and Hutus, and the United States (more privileged white men) implemented slavery against Africans. What a surprise that Israel is not on that list...
