This repository is an initial attempt at bringing full support for Ancient Greek and Latin to the Natural Language Toolkit, for the purpose of advanced computational study of the languages and their literature.

Eventually, this project will be branched into two separate projects, one for each language. Since, however, most of this work begins from the lexica, stemmata, etc. developed by the Perseus Project (http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/), the schemata of the two are so similar that they are, for now, best treated together.
