IFF - Commodore Amiga/Electronic Arts Interchange File Format

Legacy format, allows reading popular image format from the Commodore Amiga ❤️ computer.

• Read support for the following file (FORM) types:
  • ILBM
    • Indexed color, 1-8 interleaved bit planes, including 6 bit EHB
    • 8 bit gray, interleaved bit planes
    • 24 bit RGB and 32 bit RGBA, interleaved bit planes
    • Amiga specific HAM6, HAM8 and (palette changes) PCHG/SHAM/CTBL
  • PBM
    • Indexed color, 1-8 bit
    • 8 bit gray
    • 24 bit RGB and 32 bit RGBA
  • RGB8 (Impulse Imagine and Turbo Silver format)
    • RGBx 25 bit (24 bit RGB + 1 bit transparency)
  • DEEP and TVPP (TVPaint)
    • 32 bit ARGB
• Write support
  • ILBM Indexed color, 1-8 bits per sample, 8 bit gray, 24 and 32 bit true color.
• Support for the following compression types (read/write):
  • Uncompressed
  • RLE (PackBits)
  • RGB8 RLE
• Standard metadata support
