Terraform Version

Terraform v0.12.20
+ provider.google v3.7.0
+ provider.google-beta v3.7.0

Affected Resource(s)

data.google_compute_network

Terraform Configuration Files

data "google_compute_network" "default" {
  name = "default"
}

output "default_net" {
  value = data.google_compute_network.default.network
}

Expected Behavior

per the docs, the output "default_net" should contain "The network name or resource link to the parent network of this network."

Actual Behavior

$ terraform refresh

Error: Unsupported attribute

  on data.tf line 6, in output "default_net":
   6:   value = data.google_compute_network.default.network

This object has no argument, nested block, or exported attribute named
"network".

Steps to Reproduce

  1. terraform refresh

Important Factoids

the actual attribute name for this data object is id, which is consistent with other objects, so this just appears to be a typo in the attribute docs calling it network.
