The previous JSON examples required a bit too much prior understanding of Haskell for a front-page example.

FWIW I will come back to these PR's about this main page content later, after everyone who's going to suggest changes has finished looking at the new page (probably a few days). Takes time/effort to review and think about this stuff (I appreciate your time!), just to save some time/energy in the long run. |
