KindNES 0.9.2: Audio sync fix
This pre-release fixes audio synchronization in the frontend. This is done with simple dynamic sampling, which should keep synchronization within ~60ms with minimal artifacts.
KindNES 0.9.1: Controller fix
This hotfix pre-release fixes a bug in v0.9.0 where the emulator would fail to start up without a controller plugged in. Thanks to @mvlabat for pointing this out!
KindNES 0.9.0: Controller support, pausing and resetting
KindNES now supports controllers, making for a more authentic and familiar playing experience. The Windows GUI also now features pausing and resetting, so you can now perform most common game-related actions without exiting the program.
This pre-release also comes with lots of new game support and bug fixes. Four-screen mirroring now works, so games like Gauntlet and Rad Racer II are now supported. Mapper 71 has been added, and other mappers improved, so games like Base Wars and Micro Machines are now supported. Note, however, that mapper 71 games often use nonstandard techniques that are not perfectly emulated, so e.g. Fire Hawk is currently broken.
KindNES 0.8.0: Initial pre-release
This is the first usable pre-release of KindNES! It supports a substantial subset of the licensed NES library, and has a more than acceptable gameplay experience, though the UI is simple for now.
