About mars
Mars has a lot of similarities with Earth,i.e.they both have polar ice caps and clouds in its atmosphere, seasonal weather patterns, volcanoes, canyons and other recognizable features, yet it is different enough to challenge our perceptions of what makes a planet work. Therefore it is considered to be the new frontier for human colonization and has gained a lot of interest from NASA, which has launched [two rover missions] (http://marsrover.nasa.gov/home/index.html) for the purpose of exploring Mars.
As far as the greenhouse is concerned, its design is based on the assumption that it will be landed near the equator. The area Arabia is the optimal one as it is next to the equator and it's geology is not extremely hostile to the structure of the capsule. The exact point of the landing is placed over [0 degrees in latitude (5 degrees) and longitude(5 degrees)] (http://www.google.com/mars/#lat=5.000000&lon=-5.000000) in order to avoid the possible extreme weather of the south pole.
