A very simple Japanese card index box for learning katakana, hiragana and kanji. You can use it on desktop and also on mobile devicses. You need to download the index.html if you want to use it offline, or just visit this website: https://hswlab.github.io/jp
The online version is using a Cookie to store a list of incorrect Kanj, that yo can load after reopening the browser window. If you want to use the file locally, you need to change the configuration from cookie to local storage. Open the file in text editor and change localMode to true:
Select a library, you want to learn and click on a kanji to reveal the answer. Answered Kanji will be colored in red (wrong) or green (correct). Klick on the shuffle Button to shuffle the Kanji and reset the colors.
The description for the kanji is only translated in English and German. Klick on the upper left corner to mark it as solved incorrectly and store it in the training list for later training. Klick on the upper right corner to mark it as solved correctly. Klick on the bottom right corner to mark it as solved correctly and remove from training list. Klick on the bottom left corner to reset the solved status.
If "persist training list" is checked the training list wil be stored in Cookies, so you can load your wrong answered kanji and learn them at a later time. You can find the wrong answered kanji by clicking on "training" dropdown option.
There is also a filter you can use to search for a kanji by Romanji, German or English text.
