The compatibility of the "Silicon" distribution to M1, M2 etc. can be stated in some parts of the docs as well, like under "Variants of the HyperSpy-bundle":

It is compatible with Windows, MacOS (Intel or native M1), or Linux and comes with variants, which are optimised for AMD or Intel processors. The portable version is supported on windows only.
