fix: gateway conformance tests (#81)

* fix: fixture loading

* fix: bug with parsing certain content

* chore: apply review suggestions

* chore: re-enable 'default' tests but skip ininite looping ones

* fix: default test failure expectation

* chore: expected successes for default tests
