Changes:

  • Added automatic processing of requests from Issues tab.
For a request to be processed by the bot, it must have one of these labels: streams:add, streams:edit, streams:remove, as well as the approved label.
  • Updated GitHub Actions workflows.
Playlists will now be updated once a day at 0:00 UTC to reduce the chance of conflicts in manually created pull requests.
During the update the iptv-bot should process all approved requests received during the day, normalize URLs, sort links by channel name, quality, label and url, generate updated public playlists, update streams.json file and update playlist list in README.md.
  • All scripts in the repository are rewritten using TypeScript.
This should make the code a bit easier to read if someone decides to work on it in the future.
  • Updated Issue Templates.
    • Added a form for requests to remove links from a playlist.
    • When adding a new link or editing the description of an existing one, you can now also specify the custom channel name, user-agent, http referrer and maximum broadcast quality.
  • Updated Contributing Guide.
