Welcome to the SafeGuard! below is a step by step walk through for blacklisting directory's on a Windows PC.

Requirements

  • SafeGuard Installed
  • Python 3.10+
  • Windows10 or Windows11
  • Internet
  • Administrator user

Blacklisting Directory's

  1. Open the "threatList.sg" file in the "resources" folder it should be in (User\YOUR_USER\Python-SafeGuard)
  2. In the file write the path to a directory which you want to dispose of when the program runs
  3. Separate the blacklisted paths with a line by pressing "Enter"

When the program runs if the directory exists it will be deleted and with the user's permission run anti-malware
software, And or scan your PC for new threats while also restoring your system during an "emergency" this will ensure no
system files can be damaged or harmed by malware.
