man terminfo lists a bunch of capabilities of terminals.
infocmp lists current escape sequences for various things in terminfo.

save_cursor      = sc  = \e7
restore_cursor   = rc  = \e8
parm_up_cursor   = cuu = \e[%iA
parm_down_cursor = cud = \e[%iB
column_address   = hpa = \e[%iG
