OSU Welcome Dashboard Widget plugin

Introduction

The OSU Welcome Dashboard Widget plugin creates a centrally-controlled Dashboard widget for any desired Welcome text in a Multisite WordPress install.

Installation

1. Place osu-welcome-dashboard-widget directory in /wp-content/mu-plugins/
2. Move osu-welcome-dashboard-widget/osu-welcome-dashboard-widget-mu.php into the /wp-content/mu-plugins/ directory

Usage and Notes

• To edit Welcome widget content go to Network Admin->Dashboard->Settings->OSU Welcome Widget
• Welcome widget will only appear at the top of the Dashboard for users who have not yet modified their dashboard widgets
