Build frame

LED diffusion: I use a surface mount aluminium profile with an opal diffuser. The diffuser is important to reduce the spotting of the LED.

Frame material: I use aluminium,but you can use any material like wood, PVC....etc. Just be careful to avoid short-circuit with conductive material.

Handle : I use an old Kitesurf board handle, but a “T” configuration with the grip at the center provide more options (such as spinning).
WARNING : The side where the LED strip connect to the ESP8266 is the bottom of the picture.
