Turns out that I had somehow never included the command \DeclarePairedDelimiter{\cpsystems@mtparens}{\lparen}{\rparen} in the package, despite its result being used in the cpfunc* command. This release simply adds that declaration into the sty file, thus fixing the error you might see when trying to use cpfunc* in the last release or two.
