Chrome extension for hiding YouTube videos with titles that match keywords in the extension list
- This extension will hide videos that appear in feeds, search results, and related videos
- This extension will not hide YouTube channels, playlists, and videos that appear in playlists
- Fork and clone this repo to your local device
- In your Chrome browser, select the three vertical dots -> More Tools -> Extensions.
- Enable Developer Mode
- Load the unpacked extension and select the cloned root folder
- You should now see the YouTube Video Filter extension added to your Chrome browser
After installation, simply click on the extension icon in your browser, enter a keyword and click the + button to add to the filter list, and watch the extension start hiding videos that match keywords in your list. Click the x button to remove any keywords from the list. Note that after removing a keyword from the list, any hidden videos will remain hidden and you will need to refresh the page.
