Import clip markers from .edl files in Davinci Resolve
- Check if .edl file with same filename exists in same path as media file
- If exists, parse the edl file, output starting frame number and color comments for each mark
- Add marker to each media in project's MediaPool, and clips on track in current opening timeline
Python 2.7
davinviResolveClipMark.py
、edl.py
、timeline.py
C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Fusion\Scripts\Comp

My script was built on this previous work. - Blackmagic Forum • View topic - Import clip markers
Someone asked: What I can see there is no way of importing clip markers. The only option is to import timeline markers.

Copying a clip with a marker and pasting it into another project worked for me. The pasted clip carried across the marker. - Blackmagic Forum • View topic - Exporting/Importing Clip Markers
Exporting EDL with markers is also timeline-only, and I don't think it includes the marker notes.
What I'm trying to do is come up with a way to associate pre-existing data about the clips with the clips. I've even gone so far as to look at the underlying database to figure out where markers are stored. Alas, they are stored in a fieldBlob associated with the clip: - Blackmagic Forum • View topic - Exporting Marker list with timecode

if you create clip markers in the source viewer, those clip markers get attached to the clip in the media pool and will appear when the clip is edited into the timeline.
