Is there a problem with this file or a problem with miller? #1485

I don't know whether I have stumbled onto a bug or whether there is a problem with the file I am trying to parse. The file is question is stored at ftp://ftp2.bom.gov.au/anon/gen/clim_data/IDCKMSTM0S.csv.gz and is a database of tropical cyclones hosted by the Australian Bureau of Meterology. If I gunzip the file and delete the first four lines and run
Looking at that row number there does not seem to be anything wrong with the data (and there is more than one value). Also, R and Excel are all able to process the file without complaint. Any thoughts? |
