Hi, I whiteness, not for all but only for some of discovered devices, the suffix (IP match) attached to device name. Example: OpenWrt(IP match). What's about this suffix:
Is there somewhere in documentation a detailed explanation on this? Thanks |

Hi jokob-sk, You're the Luky luck of NetAleertX: Not sure to put this information on device name is the best. When we have an static IP it needs to the user to also change the device name. Maybe a specific field on this could be better, isn't? Thanks |

Hi jokob-sk, I understand your choice. A workaround could be to use Bold character on MAC or IP based on the manner it was discovered. Doing this should not clutters the interface and it should make sense to add extra information directly on the correspond field. I wasn't aware about NEWDEV_NAME_CLEANUP_REGEX setting, that's great! Thanks |

Hey @kris969
The app attaches
(IP match)
if the name is discovered via an IP match and not MAC match which could mean the name could be incorrect as IPs might change.I'll add this to teh docs.
