Getting e.g. example and description working with a custom struct and $ref

Given a struct

while the doc comments and the example don't appear at all for all custom structs. I'm wondering what obvious thing I'm missing. Afaik $ref and the other fields are not mutually exclusive.

I was hoping to get results like

My bad. I confused OAS 3.1 vs 3.0.3. This works with the 3.1 branch. Amazing
