Hi,

I'm Swastik Banerjee, I'm a Software Engineer at Microsoft Bing (📍Hyderabad, India).
Previously, I had been the Lead Search Developer at Wolfram|Alpha.
I have an interest in Information Retrieval, Privacy-Preserving systems, and some prior research experience in Theoretical/Applied Cryptography.

  • I have worked in the industry on improving Search Relevance, Ranking and building transformer based models for documentation-search and supporting search-engines found in websites; at some point I was associated with IBM Research India as a project assistant working on Differential Privacy and Multi-Party Computation. At some point, I'd like to work on the amalgamation of the two , i.e., privacy-preserving search engines (see more here)
