The Packaging Batch Tracker was created to manage batches in a manufacturing environment using the Django framework.

To run the batch tracker, you'll need Python 3 and Django.
Create new Python env
python -m venv env
Activate env
Linux
source env/bin/activate

Install Requirements
pip install -r requirements.txt
pip install -r requirements-dev.txt
Rename sample.env
to .env
Make migrations and then run migrations
python manage.py makemigrations
python manage.py migrate
Create a superuser
python manage.py createsuperuser
Create user groups and bays/lines
python manage.py create_user_groups
python manage.py create_bays
For development, create test users, generate random trays, products and then random batches (set number in args). Comments and target dates for each bay / line will also be set.

Run server
