Neither the spec or the documentation on the KSS site touch on mutliline modifier statements, which the ruby and node implementations both support. Is this supported in the spec, and should the spec take a stance on this explicitly?

Yeah, I think that makes sense 👍 I'm kinda distracted over the holidays, but feel free to submit a PR with some clarity.
