Newer versions of Xorg do not include the display value in the command-line arguments. This PR validates the value we've identified as the potential display, so we do not set an invalid DISPLAY.
Issue affects more recent versions of Ubuntu, with more recent versions of Xorg. This is an x11 issue only and does not affect Wayland.
