@Priyankasaggu11929 @neoaggelos I still see updates are not yet completed, so we will wait to get this done and then start alpha.1 release cut, right?

Once this issue is closed, I will start the process. Do let me know if there's anything else I need to keep in mind.

@xmudrii Can we add this PR kubernetes/kubernetes#125464 as a followup, to remove the publishing rules for 1.26 branch

@akhilerm The PR looks good, but in general I don't think it's related to the Go updates, instead it's more related to removing jobs and infrastructure for 1.26 (which we are yet to do, I'll be taking care of that today or tomorrow).
