ACV2LRTemplate

Easily convert .acv (Photoshop Curves) to .lrtemplate (Adobe Lightroom Preset) files.

Description

Converts Adobe Photoshop Curves (.acv files) to Adobe Lightroom Presets (.lrtemplate files).

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'acv2lrtemplate'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install acv2lrtemplate

Usage

From console (CLI)

# convert .acv file to .lrtemplate
acv2lrtemplate convert your_curves_file.acv

# provide optional name for the .lrtemplate file name
acv2lrtemplate convert your_curves_file.acv --name Amazing

# use the help command for more information
acv2lrtemplate help
# or
acv2lrtemplate help convert

In a Ruby script

require 'acv2lrtemplate'

# This will create a .lrtemplate file with the name specified in the second parameter (optional).
# By default, the input file name is used to generate the .lrtemplate file name

file_path = "path/to/your/curves/file.acv"
Acv2lrtemplate.convert!(file_path, "New File name")

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
