Summary

Describe issues that affect and steps that can be taken to improve inbox deliverability such as configuring an accurate SPF record and enabling DKIM signing.

Also mention things to avoid:

  • Spamming...
  • Exploited website code (keep CMS / plugins updated)
  • Weak mailbox passwords
  • Forwarding incoming messages to external mailboxes

Could potentially cover what to do if mail bounces? Might be better in a separate article?

Another aspect is the email itself, for which https://blog.mailtrap.io/test-email-deliverability/ has a good summary of some available tools.
