Fix HTML errors using W3C validation service I am now getting a VERY drastic speed reduction in the cleanup process, though it may just be my laptop since everything seems to be running slowly...

@rioforce told me it is not really needed at all, and I have witnessed mesh breakage with it, most notably when the initial patch for #40 is applied.
