Hello
I have forked libimobiledevice, libplist, and libusbmuxd to create a new Windows port. I am aware of libimobiledevice-win32 but decided not to use it because it is out of date.
Please consider pulling my branches into your master. I have been careful to keep the code cross platform: where a code change is required for Windows (I am using VS 2008) I have used #ifdef if I think the code change will break Linux (some of my code changes should be fine for Linux too). I have also fixed one small bug I think (search for "Polyfun" in the code). But please note, I do not have a Linux environment, so I am not able to test my changes in Linux.
FYI: my Windows port is being used in Calibre (see here http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=249301).
