This PR is needed to build successfully against new firmware packages on Raspbian stretch. RetroArch itself and other cores have already switched over to libbrcmGLESv2. |

It seems that this PR has been overlooked, as the fix is still needed. The new Raspberry Pi 3 B+ is only supported by Raspbian stretch (not to mention that jessie no longer receives firmware updates), so this is even more important now. |
