The libyal projects use the Visual Studio tools for:

generating Visual Studio solution and project files from the autotools configurations
converting Visual Studio solution and project files to different versions of Visual Studio for testing on AppVeyor

NOTE: this project has been written with primary libyal in mind and likely does not work well for other projects.
