Porting Of Private Messages from Vanilla3 to Flarum

So it seems like your tool has ported the Discussions table and this has all the private messages titles in it, with the posts for these private discussions being in the posts table. I have installed FoF Byōbu that allows private message for Flarum but none of my old messages are showing. Flarum seems to denoted private messages with a 1 in the is_private column of discussion table and all the other private messages have the same.. Should this work do you know? or does that data coming in have to be altered to work with that plugin!

That sounds like the correct structure.

Do you see content in the recipients table? That's how it gets connected to users.

I only see my information that I did testing with. I am assuming your tool does not create this table? If not I will have to write a SQL to create this table from the old records so that Private messages can come over!!

Oh, you gotta turn on the plugins in your fresh install before importing. It skips optional tables (like from plugins) it can't find.

They are recorded in code but not the docs, unfortunately. The SUPPORTED::features array uses 1 for core features but the plugin name for non-core features.

There is an argument that I should just create the tables preemptively, I'm just concerned about the drift of trying to keep up with a million plugins updating table structures over time will mean I'm always chasing an issue somewhere. OTOH, kinda lame to lose content you weren't expecting to lose. A good compromise might be to log when an import is skipped when export data was available.
