View: Default Challenge does not show anything if the challenge have no 'Challenge Image'

The View: Default Challenge at the Home page does not show anything if the challenge have no 'Challenge Image' or image is broken

For me the workaround was to us ea default image for challenegs if there is nothing. My suspicion is that this may be because the div requires the image dimensions. When there is no dimension it shrinks to 0px. So it has no declared height or width. If you declare a height and width then it should show only white background. At least this is the result I got.
