Start using biblatex for bibliography handling, which provides a much
wider array of entities (@online, @software, ...).

This PR is still in the draft stage since the appearance of the bibliography has not yet been strongly customized to fit the current livecoms style.

Sorry, after properly re-reading that comment, its purpose was slightly different (highlighting some of the benefits that come for free when switching to biber).

Nevertheless, the screenshots can serve as how the citation styles currently differ. For example

  • the biber style does not include the grey + bold font for the first author
  • the biber style uses italic font, while the current style does not
  • ...
