also updates the deprecation warnings to use the warn function.

some defaults to be validated (see TODO comments)

TODO's have been updated, also changed the warning implementation from a function-to-override to a setter function to prevent easy mistakes like this one: https://github.com/lunarmodules/Penlight/pull/366/files#diff-cb2fc51f72a2e01d6c8930f623280a9558a042fa3133a601cffa342fe9b75d48R183

The override on Penlight level remains for now.
