ESP8266 boards

NodeMCU v2

has two LEDs - one on the ESP-12E submodule, one near the micro USB connector

NodeMCU v3

has only one LED on the ESP-12E submodule

CC1101 board

The CC1101 chip can send+receive digital data in a frequency range from ~300-900MHz, but the antenna and external components vary.

Jarolift components operate at 433MHz, so make sure you buy a CC1101 transceiver board dedicated to this frequency, otherwise the range may be short (down to zero...)
