Releases: magkopian/keepassxc-debian
Release 2.3.4-1
Release 2.3.3-1
Package release for the 2.3.3 version of KeePassXC.
Release 2.3.1-1
Package release for the 2.3.1 version of KeePassXC.
Release 2.3.0-1
Package release for the 2.3.0 version of KeePassXC.
KeePassXC is now officially part of Debian and can be installed on Debian Testing (Buster) and Unstable (Sid) by simply running a sudo apt install keepassxc
, as it is now available in the main repositories.
For the time being, I will continue providing binary packages for Debian Stable (Stretch), unless KeePassXC is backported to Stretch through stretch-backports
.
Unfortunately, from this release compiling KeePassXC for Oldstable is no longer possible as new build dependencies were introduced, that are neither available on the main Jessie repositories nor on the jessie-backports
. If you are still running Debian Jessie and upgrading to Stretch is not an option for you, please consider using the AppImage build instead.
Release 2.2.4-1
Package release for the 2.2.4 version of KeePassXC.
Release 2.2.3-1
Package release for the 2.2.3 version of KeePassXC.
Release 2.2.2-1
Package release for the 2.2.2 version of KeePassXC.
Update 19/11/2017:
Starting from today and the current package release, all binary packages that are attached on a release are going to be signed with my personal gpg key.
To verify the signature of the package you’ll first need to add my public key to your trust store by running,
sudo apt-key adv --fetch-keys https://agkopian.com/magkopian.gpg.key
to fetch the key from my personal server. Or alternatively,
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-key 0xCD254314
in order to get it of from a public keyserver. That step needs to be done only once, after that you’ll be able to verify the signature of any of the Debian binaries you download from this repository by running,
apt-key verify <package_name>.deb
If everything went as expected, this should generate an output similar to the following,
gpgv: Signature made Mon 20 Nov 2017 02:52:46 PM EET
gpgv: using RSA key 8F7F663F1F20DB7618D543FAC097B9426D565514
gpgv: Good signature from "Manolis Agkopian"
gpgv: aka "Manolis Agkopian <m.agkopian@gmail.com>"
gpgv: aka "Manolis Agkopian <manolis@agkopian.com>"
Please note that I won't be signing binaries attached on older package releases, unless it is explicitly requested.
Release 2.2.1-1
Package release for the 2.2.1 version of KeePassXC.
Release 2.2.0-1
Package release for the 2.2.0 version of KeePassXC.
- Enabled YubiKey HMAC-SHA1 authentication support
- Added manpage for the keepassxc-cli program
Notes:
Because this new version of KeePassXC introduces new package dependencies, you may get some dependency errors after installing the package with dpkg
. In case that happens, simply run an apt install -f
as root, and it should install any missing dependencies.
Release 2.1.4-1
Package release for the 2.1.4 version of KeePassXC.
Update 23/6/2017:
If you are running the current Stable release of Debian which is Stretch, please choose the "Testing" package from this package release. The Stable package should only be chosen if you are still running Jessie, which is the current Oldstable.
