I can't really say when it stopped working, but I can't stream with audio anymore even if Discord-screenaudio detects the virtual mic input. Also all the microphone and audio icons are in a blue color. I don't know why.
Any help is appreciated

I just updated today to latest AUR version and it works again. Even though "Share your screen" icon disappeared from within the call and I have to start streaming from bottom left corner.

Noticing the same thing on 1.9.2. I use the Flatpak on Arch.

I have the same problem, audio sharing doesn't work after the new discord update. I tried Mini-Gaunt's fix and it only fixed the audio for me, now video doesn't ask for a source instead.

I'm on Debian 12, so it might be an issue with outdated libraries for building from source though.

So my situation is:

  • when I try building the official repo from source, neither sound nor video works.
  • when I open flatpak, video works and audio doesn't.
  • with Mini-Gaunt's fix built from source, audio works and video doesn't.

Is that fixed already?

Having the same issues recently too. The option that normally asks for audio source and stream quality has just vanished, which also means no audio is available. No fix yet

We're going to have to wait a while for an update. Since I see that so far the developer is not saying anything at all. And when approximately it will be fixed is a mystery. And there's no way to roll back the update. At least, I haven't found such an option.

Same issue on the latest version of flatpak. I tried uninstalling, deleting the data, and reinstalling but to the same result. I'm on NixOS KDE 5.

Looks like #232 fixed the issue for me :)
